Day 1: Charyn Canyon & Kolsai Lakes
The journey begins in Kazakhstan with a visit to the spectacular Charyn Canyon, often called the “younger brother of the Grand Canyon.” After exploring the canyon, we continue to the stunning Kolsai Lakes, nestled among pine forests and alpine landscapes. This day introduces the dramatic contrast between wide степpe landscapes and mountain scenery, setting the tone for an epic Silk Road adventure.

In the morning, we visit the unique Kaindy Lake, famous for its submerged forest with tree trunks rising from crystal-clear water. After exploring the area, we head toward the Kyrgyzstan border. Landscapes gradually change as we cross into a new country. Arrival at Issyk-Kul Lake, followed by accommodation and rest.

Day 3: Karakol, Jeti-Oguz & Hot Springs
Today we explore the eastern shore of Issyk-Kul. We visit Karakol city, including the Dungan Mosque and the Orthodox Church. Then we head to the iconic red rock formations of Jeti-Oguz, known as the “Seven Bulls.” In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing soak in natural hot springs. Overnight in a guesthouse or hotel.

Day 4: Skazka Canyon & South Shore of Issyk-Kul
We travel along the southern shore of Issyk-Kul and visit the Fairy Tale (Skazka) Canyon, known for its colorful rock formations and surreal landscapes. Enjoy a walk through the canyon and free time for photos. In the evening, we settle into a yurt camp or guesthouse near the lake, followed by dinner and relaxation.
