Day 1: Across Kalmak-Ashuu Pass to Song-Kul Lake
The adventure begins with a drive from Bishkek into the high mountains of Kyrgyzstan. Crossing the scenic Kalmak-Ashuu Pass, you will witness dramatic landscape changes—from dry valleys to lush alpine meadows dotted with grazing yaks. In the evening, we arrive at the remote Song-Kul Lake, situated at nearly 3000 meters above sea level. Accommodation in a traditional yurt, followed by dinner and an introduction to nomadic life under a star-filled sky.
