Then, circle Issyk-Kul Lake to experience authentic nomadic life: sleep in a yurt, watch an Eagle Hunting Show, and explore the Mars-like Skazka Canyon. Visit the majestic Barskoon Waterfalls, the famous Jeti-Oguz rocks, and the cultural sites of Karakol. Finish with a relaxing boat cruise.

Tour Program

1 Day 1: Silk Road Heritage & Red Canyons

The tour begins in Bishkek with a visit to the ancient Burana Tower, a key monument of the Silk Road era. You will explore the minaret and the Balbal stone statues. The journey continues to the Konorchek Canyons in Boom Gorge, where a scenic hike leads through striking red sandstone formations known as the “Eolian Castles.” After the hike, transfer to a guesthouse for overnight stay.

2 Day 2: Chon-Kemin Valley & Horseback Riding

Today we travel to the peaceful Chon-Kemin National Park. Upon arrival, meet your horses and enjoy a relaxing horseback ride through pine forests, open meadows, and scenic viewpoints overlooking the valley. After the ride, return to the guesthouse for a traditional homemade lunch and rest. Overnight in the Chon-Kemin Valley.

3 Day 3: South Shore of Issyk-Kul & Nomadic Culture

We head to Issyk-Kul Lake and explore its southern shore. Experience authentic nomadic culture with a private Eagle Hunting show and a traditional archery demonstration. Accommodation is in a traditional yurt. Later, visit the Fairy Tale (Skazka) Canyon, famous for its surreal, colorful landscapes. Dinner and overnight in a yurt camp by the lake.

4 Day 4: Karakol, Waterfalls & Lake Cruise

In the morning, we visit the Barskoon Waterfalls hidden among spruce forests, followed by the iconic red rock formations of Jeti-Oguz, known as the “Seven Bulls.” Then we explore the city of Karakol, including the Dungan Mosque and the Orthodox Church. The tour concludes in Cholpon-Ata with a scenic boat cruise on Issyk-Kul Lake, followed by the return to Bishkek.
